On 7th of May 2017 a group of one hundred sea Kayakers will paddle 26.2 miles of the river Thames. Starting beneath Tower Bridge, the kayakers will paddle the distance in a group with the aim of raising in excess of £30’000 for a wide variety of  charitable causes.  Register today and make every mile matter.


The Great North Paddle 2017 planning is underway.  We are looking into possible dates and will open registration as soon as we have confirmation from all of the relevant organisations. The event is being organised by Paddlesport Events on behalf of the NE RDT.

Starting at Scotswood Bridge a group of Kayakers and Canoeists will paddle 13.5 miles through Newcastle on route to the finish at South Shields Sailing Club, in an attempt to raise over £30,000 for a variety of good causes.

The inaugural Falmouth Kayakathon took place last year. Starting at Gyllyngvase Beach, 50 sea kayakers paddled 18 miles along one of the UK’s most beautiful stretches of coastline with the aim of raising  £30’000 for a variety of charitable causes.  We hope to organise more of these events soon so check back later for more information.
